A returned peace corps volunteer Mike Mitchell (Zinder,1984) returns to Niger in February 2008 , randomly give away 2000 soccers balls to street kids, the Fenifoot ( Nigerien soccer federation ) , soccer academies etc... He thinks it's a way to fight poverty .He said " We wound up making soccer nets out of plastic bags (a major problem in Niger plastic bags everywhere destroying the environment).
